After spending a few years in Real Estate and getting most of my clients from the internet, I found that about 95% of the clients were starting their search on the internet and they want to see pictures before spending time going to look at homes.  The more pictures the better and preferably high quality photos.  Dark photos can make a home unattractive even if it is a nice home.

Suggestions to prepare for photos:

• Clean the home.
• Clear clutter from tables and counters.
• Open all shades/blinds.
• Too much "Stuff" on the Wall?  Remove some and store it or even better pack it for your next home.
• Potential Buyers want to imagine it being their home and too much stuff makes that difficult.

Photos can be edited to improve a little but we can't work miracles.  They have to be decent to start.
